Tanx Erik. Well, you found the page, that's good enough for me. Today I added a new Pandemonium download; Live De Buze Steenwijk 13-10-1984. Its on the bottom of the page. Matski

Hey

Nice page. Good memories of Pandemonium concerts. Long long time ago. Maybe you can consider linking or mentioning your downloads at the http://www.anarcho-punk.net site.

cheers!!

Hey Harry. Tanx for your message, yes I remember some Consolidated Hamburg gigs. Grosse Freiheit for sure, Kaiserkeller.... could be. Not sure if that recording exist, drop you a mail. I am more amazed that you manage to get to all my posting. Even for myself impossible. As you can read I am writing again all my tour stories. It can be about the same events, but because my English improved a lot, plus I can take more (emotional) distance, I feel I can write these stories better. Anyway, tanx again. Email follows.

hi,
many thanks for your blog/site. I 've read all your blogposts from beginning (now working myself through 2011).
It's very entertaining and sometimes funny while I'm sorting out my cd collection (You know the "one song"-cds, the one I never listen to or dont like anymore).
I found your page by this blogpost: http://tapeattack.blogspot.de/2014/01/spex-1082-koln.html
In this ancient SPEX Cherokee and Limbabwe were mentioned in the tape reviews and whenever they say it's sth like "funk punk wave" I'll take a listen (ok, cherokee was not exact what I'd go miles for).
I was also amused by your "tour stories".
I saw Consolidated (still own all cds from "Myth" -once bought, sold, bought again [but only a reprint without lyrics], bought again the old version] until "Tikkun" also the childman cd, then I lost track of them) in Hamburg in beginning of the 90ties, maybe 1991 or 1992, location could be Kaiserkeller or Grosse Freiheit 36 (their homepage says nothing about this event). I was there with a friend who took the chance at "discussion time" to yell sth about "Holsten Bier" and "republicans" which I thought was very funny. I wonder if a recording of his voice still exists.
If you like, write a mail to me,
thanks, Harald

Hmm, am I the first to write since May 2011? Well it is great to see this site. So many memories. I Stumbled into the Martinusstraat via friends from Gotefix. Although my musical mind was divided between metal, punk and alterative I found it an amazing place. The door was opened by the amazing Yvonna Meelkop from ANGST and hearing GORE rehearsing in the basement. Meeting Matski in the kitchen (I think) just about to go on tour with some band. The music scene was great and diverse and the "hokjes" (pigeon holeing)mentality was slowly fading from especially the Punk scene. This was just before bands such as the Beastie Boys, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers and such became famous. Metal bands such as Metallica and Slayer openly showed their admiration for HC Punk and in Limbabwe jazz, funk, hiphop, industrial, metal, punkrock and hardcore where mixed with anytype of crossover possible int the later years. Sadly this was also the time of the demise of MArtinusstraat Limbabwe, OOC and most of the music scene. The newly council sponsored Perron55 could and still can not revive the feel that there was between 1982 and 1986 in Venlo and surrounding communitees. Although living in the UK for the last 12 years now I still fondly remember those days and thank the people that welcomed the long haired metal head with the dead kennedys t-shirt.

But what Mat forgets to tell you is that he was eager to join the very famous and succesful Gotefix spin-off Hysteria. He was a proud member of that crew. Yeah!

We have three poionous snakes in Slovenia.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vipera_ammodytes could be all black, most poisonous, dagerous to kids, older and sick people
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vipera_berus
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vipera_aspis very rare over here, mostly lives in Italy

And there is a lizard that looks like snake, not poisonous, but people mistake it for a snake

on bike or on foot, and always looking around, i notice a lot of new graffiti in this town lately. not really beautiful or even meant to be as such, but more as a strong personal outlet. especially the ’bomb the system’ one - that reappears on different locations - is one that blends out. i’ll take a picture this week if still there ...
