CATASTROPHE BIZARRE – MELODIEN FUR SCHONE STUNDEN (Limbabwe 8) 1982
Catastrophe was a band from Roermond, town about 20 km south of Venlo. How we came to connect is unknown to me. I suppose the Catastrophe members visited Bauplatz gigs.
Bizarre contributed 2 songs to the ‘Alle Honden Blaffen’ compilation. About one year later they recorded this cassette for Limbabwe.
Don’t have many stories. I barely remember the band. The music is a bit poppy ‘new wavy’ a la early eighties, but with a cranky interpretation. Although not really my piece of cake I do like this band and tape.
